The next season of dance reality show Nach Baliye promises to be bigger, better and bolder!

The same judges will return to the show -- actress Shilpa Shetty, choreographer Terrence Lewis and director Sajid Khan.

Hosts Gautam Rode and Karan Wahi will add their brand of humour.

Brazilian model-turned-item girl Bruna Abdullah, who was recently seen in the big hit Grand Masti, will dance with her boyfriend Omar Farooque.

Nach Baliye 6 is about passion, not vulgarity, says its judge Shilpa Shetty!

If latest pictures of the contestants are anything to go by, the action promises to be bolder and edgier this season in Nach Baliye. But according to Shilpa Shetty, who will again judge couple dance reality show, the new season is about romance and passion and has no vulgar content. The show will launch on November 9 and will air every Saturdays and Sundays.

The actress said, “You are misunderstanding the whole concept. When we talk about passion, it does not mean vulgar. Passion is a part of every marriage, every relationship and romance. If you remove romance, there is no fun.”

The 38-year-old was speaking on Friday at the launch of the show's new season, where she was accompanied by her co-judges director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.

Sajid Khan said, Nach Baliye 6 promises dance infused with a lot of romance and passion. “There will be romance through dance, they will be marked on the basis of their dance, the audiences will vote looking at their dance. It's not Valentine's Day special. Romance is a theme, but it is a dance show,” said Sajid.

The celebrity couples participating in the new season are - Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bannerjee, Kanika Maheshwari-Ankur Ghai, Amrapali Gupta-Yash Sinha, Raju Srivastav-Shikha, Kiku Sharda-Priyanka, Ripudaman Handa-Shivangi, Ridhi Dogra-Raqesh Bapat, Lata Sabharwal-Sanjeev Seth, Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi, Bruna Abdullah-Omar Farooque and Vinod Thakur-Raksha.

Bruna Abdullah to be a part of Nach Baliye 6 with boyfriend Omar Herror!

The sultry beauty of Bollywood Bruna Abdhullah is the latest entry in the couple dance reality show Nach Baliye 6. She and her boyfriend Omar Herror have already signed on the dotted line, and the two are practicing even.

Speaking about the reason why she opt for TV show, Bruna Abdullah said this will give time to be with her beau whom she met in the year 2010, and has been dating since. Her man Omar Farooque is by profession a consultant who helps in setting up of spas and wellness centres. “We hardly get time since we are busy with our respective professions, but the show has allowed us to be together from morning till night. He is stuck with me for two months,” Bruna is quoted as saying.

We must say that this former Kingfisher Calendar girl has never restricted herself to just Bollywood. Besides doing films down south, she has earlier participated in the telly shows like Dancing Queen and Khatron Ke Khiladi.

And most importantly, since Bruna Abdullah has earlier grooved to tracks like Subah hone na de from Desi Boyz and the title song of I Hate Luv Storys, we know she is a good dancer. And after Grand Masti, she has also got many fans who would love to see her dance on TV.

The sixth season of celebrity couple dance show, Nach Baliye, is all set to hit TV on 9^th November. Yesterday night, at a press conference, the speculations about the potential celebrity couple contestants’ were finally put to rest, when the channel announced the final list of contestants.
In fact, the popular television stars shook a leg, introducing themselves and their better halves in front of judges Shilpa Shetty, Terence Lewis and Sajid Khan.

Amongst the list of contestants, the most popular romantic Jodi of TV Rakesh Vashisht and his beautiful wife Ridhi Dogra sizzled with their on-screen chemistry when they made their introduction. In fact, the actor raised an eyebrow, when he lovingly kissed his wife, in front of all fanfare.
Gurmeet Chodhary, former Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 5 winner and his wife Debina are all set to rock the stage. The couple showed their intensity when they attempted an ******** dance number in front of judges. Now with this former dance reality show winner, the rest of the contestants will have a definite run for money.

Kiku Sharda, aka Palak from Comedy Nights with Kapil, will also be seen on stage. No this time, it won’t be comedy, but some serious dancing with his cute looking wife Priyanka Sharda.

Talking about comedy, we also have the king of comedy, our very own Raju Srivastava and his beautiful wife Shikha, to shake a leg on ‘Nach Baliye’ this time. Let’s see how well he woos the audience with his dance numbers.

Masterchef Kitchen Ke Superstars winner Ripudaman Handa is all set to shake the audience with his dancing s****s this time. He will be seen dancing with Shivangi Verma this time.

Kanika Maheshwari, from Diya aur baati hum, will also be seen participating in the dance reality show with her husband Ankur Ghai. Mean Sanjeev Seth and Lata Sabarwal & Amrapali Gupta and Yash Sinha will be the next dancing couple in Nach Baliye this season.

Who can forget Bruna Abdullah, the Brazilian model turned item girl for our Bollywood. Watch her sizzle the stage, when she pairs with her real life partner Omar in the show.

The rest of the couples are Ritwik Dhanjani and Asha Negi ( of Pavitra Rishta fame), Vinod Pradhan and Raksha are all set to make a dancing debut on screen with ‘Nach Baliye’ season 6 in November.

Anup Soni and Juhi Babbar to make a special appearance in Nach Baliye season 6

Get hold of your dance shoes as Star Plus is back with its high profile celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye 6. The season will soon kick start and some of the biggest names (read: couples) from the entertainment industry will be seen swaying their hips to impress the judges and masses.

And now we are here to inform that Anup Soni and wife Juhi Babbar will not be a part of series as regular contestants, but throw a special guest appearance.

When we called Anup to get a confirmation, he said, “I have been approached to do the show but I am not taking it up as a regular contestant. Right now I am already doing two shows (Balika Vadhu and Crime Patrol), which involves a lot of travelling. It’s natural that it will be difficult for me to take up one more show at this point of time. If everything falls in place, I will surely participate in this show next year. But yes, I will be making a special appearance in Nach Baliye but how and when, I myself don’t know yet.”

Nakuul and Jankee no more a part of Nach Baliye 6

Tellychakkar.com earlier reported about actor Nakuul Mehta being uncertain about his participation in Star Plus’ show Nach Baliye 6 owing to his wife Jankee’s ill health.

Now a release from the channel side has confirmed the development.The release says that Nakuul and his beau Jankee, who were very excited to be on the show, will now not be seen on Nach Baliye 6. The reason being Jankee’s injured knee.

Jankee was returning from her show in Hongkong and slipped and fell on the escalator and has been advised eight weeks of bed rest. The couple that was excited to be on the show is very upset with the turn of events. In fact they even shot for the promo for the show but had to back out because of Jankee's injury.

When approached a source from the production house confirmed that the couple was locked for the show but because of this unfortunate accident the couple had to back out.While they tried to manage with the injured leg but because of doctors strict instructions they had to withdraw from the show.

The stage will surely miss one of the most popular celebrity couples but as they say you never know what the future holds.

Raju and Shikha Srivastava Popular stand-up comedian Raju Srivastava is all set to showcase another side to his personality. Besides contesting for the upcoming elections, the funnyman will be part of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 with his wife Shikha. “The main reason I took up the show was because my wife and I will get to spend a lot of time together, which otherwise is not possible because of my busy schedule,” says Raju. However, it was not easy convincing his wife, who is a homemaker. “She has never been on stage or TV before, so it took a lot of coaxing for her to agree. I just told her that the way she has handled me and our two children Antara and Ayushman she can handle dance.

Finally, it was the children who convinced her to take part,” he says. Raju, who has danced at family functions and weddings is looking forward to shaking a leg to Mehmood’s and Amitabh Bachchan’s songs. “I want to dance to Bachchan’s Pardesiyan (Mr Natwarlal), Mehmood’s O meri maina (Pyaar Kiye Jaa) and Kishore Kumar’s Cheel cheel chillake (Half Ticket). But the first song I will dance to is Shah Rukh Khan’s Lungi dance from Chennai Express,” he smiles.

Besides the comedian, there’s chef Ripudaman Handa, who is gearing up to showcase his dancing skills. The winner of Masterchef India 3, Ripudaman will be shaking his leg with girlfriend Shivangi. Says the chef, “Shivangi is very good at dancing unlike me. Initially, when I told her about the offer, she told me not to participate as I am a non-dancer!” Ripudaman is looking forward to dancing to the romantic song Main rang sharbaton ka (Phata Poster Nikla Hero) and some party numbers.

A good-looking couple but their dancing talents still needs to be seen.

Amrapali Gupta and Yash Sinha

Amrapali Gupta and Yash Sinha: Amprapali, the cat eyed vamp Tanveer from Zee TV's serial 'Qubool Hai' makes her reality show debut with real life husband Yash Sinha. Both had fallen in love while doing serial 'Teen Bahuraniyaan' and have been married for almost a year. Both are good dancers and it would be interesting to watch the much-in-love actor couple sizzle the dance floor.

Riddhi Dogra and Raqesh Vashishth

Riddhi Dogra and Raqesh Vashishth: Riddhi and Raqesh met during the making of TV serial 'Maryada' and got married two years back. Raqesh has been a good dancer but Riddhi's dancing skills need to be seen. It would be interesting to watch the two matching steps with one another.

Kanika Maheshwari and Ankur Ghai

Kanika Maheshwari and Ankur Ghai: Popularly known as Meena Beendhni from the popular Star Plus TV serial 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', Kanika would be one talent to watch out for in Nach Baliye. Married to Delhi based businessman Ankur Ghai, Kanika and Ankur will be one spicy couple in Nach Baliye. Quite coincidently, in the last season Kanika's on screen mother-in-law Bhabho (Neelu) was a top contender. Hope Kanika takes Bhabho's dance legacy forward.

Ripudaman Handa

Ripudaman Handa and Shivangi: Winner of Star Plus reality show Mastarchef Season 2, Delhi-based chef Ripudaman Handa will now be burning the dance floor with his moves. This time there will test of dancing skills and not his culinary skills. Joining Ripudaman will be his real life girlfriend Shivangi who is a good dancer. So it will be a non-dancer-cum-common man who will be turning into a dancer in Nach Baliye this season.

Several names from the industry have been approached to be part of the show and these include singer Hardcore and boyfriend Delton, Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal, Aditya Rediz and fiancee Natasha, Ayushmaan Khurana and wife and Chunkey Pandey and wife Bhawna. Aakanksha Singh and Kunal Sain approached for Nach Baliye?

Yet another couple from the telly town is under the participation list of the upcoming dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 6 on Star Plus.

The popular dance reality show Nach Baliye which will go on air soon on Star Plus, is much in media reports nowadays. Many names from the telly industry are approached to be a part of the show.

Recently we had reported about Archana Taide and Ashish Sharma been approached for the dance reality show and now we got to know the talented actress Aakanksha Singh who was last seen playing the role of Megha in Sudhir Sharma's Sunshine Productions daily soap Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors, and her beau Kunal Sain have been approached for the show too.

Our reliable source informs us, "Aakanksha Singh and Kunal Sain who recently got engaged, have been approached for Nach Baliye. The talks are on with them but no concrete decision is yet taken."

On the same we contacted Aakanksha Singh to know more about the offer, but she remained unavailable for any comments.

Well it would be a treat to Aakansha's fans to see shake her leg on the dance reality show Nach Baliye along with her beau Kunal Sain.

The next big budget dance reality show of the year is about to take off. Star Plus’ Nach Baliye is coming with a fresh season 6 with a bang. This time the dance performances will blow away your mind as the makers are going to increase the oomph quotient in the show. It will be sensuous and hawwttt!!

I will reveal names of few lucky couples who have been approached for the season this year. But first let’s talk about the judges. Nach Baliye 6 will be judged by none other than ***y seductress Shilpa Shetty Kundra, to check on the expressions Director Sajid Khan will be on the watch and to keep a sharp eye on the dance moves celebrity choreographer Terence Lewis will be present in the house.

4. Rithwik Dhanjani - Asha Negi : Pavitra Rishta stars have already started the rehearsals!! Both met during Pavitra Rishta and since then they are a couple. Rithwik has shown in JDJ Season 5 that he is a bundle of energy and already has a good track record in dancing.

5. Gurmeet Chaudhary – Debina Banerjee : Gurmeet had won 2012 season of Jhalak, he knows the art of dancing very well and is very dedicated. Let’s see whether he can repeat the history this time with his better half.

6. Rakesh Vashishth - Riddhi Dogra : Both of them fell in love during the shooting of their serial Maryada. It will be very interesting to watch this couple competing with other TV celebrities.

7. Ripudaman Handa – his girlfriend Shivangi : Star Plus’ Master Chef’s winner Ripudaman Handa will show his dancing skills with girlfriend Shivangi. Handa doesn’t have any dancing background, he loves cooking while Shivangi is a good dancer. Let’s see how both of them cope up in this race of Nach.

8. Nakul Mehta - Janki : Nakul is popularly known as Aditya from Star Plus show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara. His wife Janki is a singer. Though both of them have tasted each other’s profession yet their dancing skills are still to be tested.

9. Sunny Leone – her husband Indo- Canadian **** Star has already made her debut in Indian television with Big Boss 5, she also showed her skin in few Bollywood movies. It looks like TV wants her back. This time she will show her dance moves with husband Daniel Weber. Hmm…So now you know why the hotness quotient is high in this season. Others will have a difficult time to match up to her. Don’t you think so??

10. Shabbir Ahluwalia - Kanchi : Another Jodi from TV fraternity. Both of them are good dancers and if they participate then definitely they will go till the end. This couple has a great on screen chemistry and it will be a treat for their fans to watch them together again.

11. Saurav Ganguly - Dona :This high profile Jodi will be a surprise package of the show. It will be amazing to watch Saurav fighting for dance trophy rather than a cricket cup.

12. Sara Khan – her boyfriend Paras : Sara has a huge fan following, we have seen her dance in few shows including her popular serial Bidaai. She has a history of controversies behind her with ex-boyfriend Ali. Let’s see how they will perform together first time on TV.

Apart from these couples, according to speculations channel has approached Karan Singh Grover and his beautiful wife Jennifer Winget, Natasha and Aditya Redji, Vinod Kambli and his wife Andrea and Vishal Karwal and Karishma.
